Annual Coffee Mug Night

About

From 1988 to 2012, the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club designated one game during each season as the "Maxwell House Annual Coffee Mug Night." The organization partnered with Maxwell House Coffee to design souveneir coffee mugs to be given away to fans at each game, as a way to entice fans to purchase tickets and advertise Maxwell House coffee brands to fans that attended the games.

The design of each mug varies drastrically from season to season, with the designation of "Annual Maxwell House Coffee Mug Night", the Blues Logo, and Maxwell House Logo being the only visible indicators that each mug is a part of a series of mugs. Many early mugs prominently display the date of the giveaway game, while later mugs simply present the series number e.g. "20th Annual Maxwell House Coffee Mug Night."

*Due to the 2005 lockout, no mug was made for that season.
